Lettie Jane Ressler, 86, entered into rest at the United Zion Retirement Community, Lititz. She was born November 22, 1931 in Lancaster to the late Lewis & Emma (Kreider) Hostetter. She was the loving wife to the late Melvin J. Ressler who passed away in 2015. She worked in the restaurant/food prep industry in the Ephrata School district cafeteria and also at the Oregon Dairy. She also volunteered for the Akron Fire Co. She was a longtime member of Oregon Community United Methodist Church. Surviving is a sister, Mary Peachy of Ephrata, and a brother, Lewis "Whitey" Hostetter Jr., of Reading. Lettie was preceded in death by three siblings: Ethel, Margaret and Richard. A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM on Monday, October 15, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with viewing from 1-2PM. Interment in Oregon Community Cemetery following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lettie's memory may be made to the United Zion Retirement Community Caring Fund, 722 Furnace Hills Pike, Lititz, PA 17543.
