Lester J. Winebrenner, 71, of Lancaster passed away Friday, December 30, 2016 at Lancaster General Hospital. He was the husband of Tonya (Gochenauer) Winebrenner to whom he was married for 13 years. Born in Wrightsville, PA he was a son of the late James and Katherine (Kinzer) Winebrenner. Lester worked as a supervisor for 21 years with Dart Container prior to his retirement and enjoyed street rods and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife Tonya, he is survived by a son and two daughters Kathy Winebrenner-Meck, wife of Shawn Meck of Clemmons, NC and Patty M. Winebrenner Evans of Washington Boro. PA; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers Frank Winebrenner of York, PA and Charles Winebrenner and one sister Audrey Ackerman of Wrightsville, PA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 9, 2017 at 2PM from the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz, PA 17543. Burial will be held at Laurel Hill Memorial Gardens, Columbia, PA. A viewing will be held one hour prior to his service at the funeral home.
