Lester C. Marks, 85, of Mountville, passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Susquehanna Valley Nursing & Rehabilitation. He was the husband of the late Sarah B. Wise Marks for 65 years before her death in 2013. Lester was born in York to the late Joseph and Margaret Orner Marks.

He worked as supervisor for Charles Chips and the former Penn Malleable Iron. Lester was a member of Mountville Church of the Brethren. He loved cars, classic car shows and especially driving his Buick that he named "Black Beauty". Lester enjoyed Phillies Baseball and his cats Sage and Simba

Lester is survived by three children: Dianne, wife of Clyde Urban of Lancaster, Debbie, wife of Cliff Fox of Landisville and Doug Marks, husband of Kristina of Bainbridge; six grandchildren: Lori, Carlissa, Brandon, Michael, Joe and Chris; eight grandchildren and his sister Evelyn Eberly of Lancaster. His brothers Richard and Clarence Marks and son Dale Marks preceded Lester in death.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 25, 2016 at Mountville Church of the Brethren, 60 Clay St., Mountville, PA with Pastor Rebecca R. Fuchs officiating. The viewing will take place from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Burial will be in Silver Spring Cemetery. Kindly omit flowers.
