Leonard C. "Lenny" Stramara, 64, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at Cambridge Nursing Home.

Lenny was born in Tamaqua, PA. He was the son of the late Martin Jerome Stramara and Nellie (Karpf) Stramara. After graduating from Pottsville Area High School he entered the U. S. Navy. He was aboard the USS Enterprise.

After retirement he moved to Delray Beach, FL where he lived for several years. He recently moved back to Lancaster to be closer to his two sons and other family and friends.

He is survived by two sons; Mike Stramara married to Colleen of Lancaster and Jason Stramara of Philadelphia. Also surviving are three sisters Regina Garber of Shillington, PA, Dorothy Smulligin of Tamaqua, PA, Vivenne Hunsicker of Lehighton, PA, one brother Martin Stramara of Margate, FL, and four grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will take place in the Grand Ballroom at the Eden Resort Inn, 222 Eden Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601 on Sunday, March 9th from 2:30-4:30pm.
