Leland Edward Stearns, 82, of Ephrata, passed away on December 14, 2023. Born in De Ruyter, NY, he was the son of the late Leroy and Ida Stearns. He was married to Karolyn E. Stearns prior to her passing in 2018.

Leland was a proud veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam. Leland went to the Park City Diner every day for his sticky bun and coffee, therefore he earned the nickname "Sticky Bun." He loved buying presents for everyone and always had a smile to give. He enjoyed watching old shows and will be remembered as caring, compassionate, giving, and kind.

He is survived by many dear friends who will miss him greatly.

Leland will be laid to rest at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Leland's name can be made to American Cancer Society, cancer.org , or Tunnel to Towers Foundation, t2t.org .
