Lehman "Lee" Ross, 89, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 30 ^th 2010 at Brethren Village Retirement Community. He was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Abram and Carolyn (Casper) Ross.

Thelma, his beloved wife of 51 years passed away in 2009

Lee served as a Sergeant in the United States Army during World War II.

He retired as a credit manager from the Philadelphia branch of United Parcel Service in 1986.

Lee will be remembered as a true gentleman. He always greeted everyone with a smile and a "twinkle" from his blue eyes. He loved his family, antique automobiles, and New York City.

He is survived by his son Alan, husband of Robin, of Drexel Hill and by his daughter Carol, wife of Harry Maxwell, of Manheim Township. He is also survived by two grandsons Andrew and Evan McVey.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life Funeral Service from the Chapel of Brethren Village 3001 Lititz Pk. Lancaster, PA 17601 on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 11am with The Rev. Mark Tedford officiating. The family will receive friends from 10-11am at Brethren Village. Interment will be on Sunday in Maple Hill Cemetery in Wilkes-Barre, PA.
