Lawrence O. "Larry" Homsher, Sr., 79, died peacefully and went home to be with Jesus on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Hospice & Community Care, Essa Flora Center.  Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Wilmer C. and Gertrude (Beard) Homsher.  He was the beloved husband of Elisa J. (Brubaker) Homsher for 28 years.

His first wife, Sallie K. (Cunningham) Homsher, died in 1983 after 31 years of marriage.  Larry was in the truck and car tire business for over 40 years.  In 1980, Larry, Sallie and their three sons became partners in LLADS Ventures, Inc.  After leaving the tire business to his three sons, Larry and Elisa enjoyed many years buying and selling at flea markets.  Larry loved to hunt, fish and drive fast cars.  He also enjoyed vacationing in Potter County and Rehoboth Beach, DE.

In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by three sons: Lawrence O. "Larry", Jr. husband of Heidi, Donald L. Sr. wife of Kelly and Andrew J. husband of Dede, all of Conestoga; eight grandchildren: Jennifer S. (Bill) Rightnour of Lancaster, Amanda M. (Rob) Howry of Pequea, Diana L. Shaffer and Julia L. (Brandon) Sheaffer both of Conestoga, Kari A. (Ryan) Steinbacher, Amy K. (Andrew) Chura, Donald L. (Meghan), Jr. and Holly E. (Derrick) Morgan, all of Lancaster; nine great-grandchildren: Tyler Rightnour, Levi and Lily Howry, Alyssa and Kaylee Shaffer, Hayden Sheaffer, Averi Steinbacher, and Luke and Isabel Chura.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 with Rev.
