Lawrence M. "Larry" Conrad, Sr., 67, of Lancaster, passed away at Lebanon VA Hospital, Sunday, June 11, 2017. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Samuel A. and Edith (Kerchoff) Conrad, Sr. Larry was the loving husband of the late Carol A. (Smith) Conrad, who died in 2013. Larry proudly served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War, upon his honorable discharge he worked in the foundry for Donsco, Inc. for nearly 20 years. He loved spending his free time fishing and enjoyed going to Knoebles with his wife. Larry is survived by his only son, Lawrence "Mike" Conrad, Jr., husband of Angie, of Lancaster. He is also survived by four siblings: Judith Jenks, of Lancaster; Sam (Jennifer) Conrad, of Huntington, PA; James (Karen) Conrad, Sr., of Marietta; and Jane (Tony) Strohm, of Lititz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Larry will be held at 11AM, Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Willow Street Mennonite Church, 399 E. Penn Grant Rd, Willow Street, PA 17584. Family and Friends will be received at the church from 10AM to 11AM, prior to the service. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Riverview Burial Park, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to the Willow Street Mennonite Church at the address above.
