Lawrence "Larry" Carty, 81, of Willow Street, passed away Monday, July 15, 2024, at his home. Born in Somers Point, NJ he was the son of the late Elmer and Madeline (Dietrich) Carty. He was the loving husband of Anna Mae (Stoltzfus) Carty with whom he shared over 50 years of marriage.

He was a longtime tour bus driver for the J.J. Kelly Bus Service in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Larry and Anna lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL for over 18 years where they enjoyed being on the water in their boat along with family and friends. Larry had a great sense of humor and was very kind.

Larry proudly served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, John E. Carty husband of Laura of Ephrata, PA and Steven L. Carty of Jacksonville, FL. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jonathan, and Aiden; great-grandson, Landon Carty; two sisters, Margie Groves of NJ and Joan Whipkey of MA.

Funeral Services will be held at 2PM on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. Interment will be private. Family and friends will be received from 1-2PM at the funeral home on Wednesday.
