IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lawonya Kim
Heckstall
June 8, 2024
Lawonya Kim Heckstall, 60 of Lancaster, PA passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. She was the longtime life partner of Ricardo Mack. She was born March 24, 1964, in Virginia Beach, VA, and raised in Norfolk, VA. She was the daughter of the late Delores Minggia and Elbert Heckstall and stepfather William Minggia. Wonda and Ricardo shared forty-three wonderful years together. Wonda was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a strong believer in God. The faith she had was bigger than the world. She always taught her children to live by faith and not sight. Wonda is someone who loved children and always had open arms for other people and was a very good friend. She was a second mother to all her children's friends. All her nieces and nephews loved being at Aunt Wonda's house. She was someone who loved to listen to music, go shopping and spend time with her kids and grandkids. Wonda was a very outspoken person and she always meant well to others. One thing you can always say about Wonda is she loved her kids very, very much.
Wonda is preceded in death by two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. In addition to her life partner, Ricardo Mack, she is survived by her children, Latoya Heckstall Lawrence, Ricardo Heckstall, Berrell Heckstall, Denise Heckstall and one stepdaughter, Melissa Sharp, all of Lancaster, PA; her brothers, Albert Eddy Lee Heckstall, Darrell Heckstall, Eric Heckstall, and Alvin Will Minggia; her sisters, Anita Washington, Bernette Faye Deloatch, Pamela Johnson, Reshia Minggia, and Jaquline Minggia-Stump; grandchildren, Taj Heckstall, Adryan Walton, Camille Walton, Alexandria Lawrence, Jayden Lawrence, Aryian, Ayianna, and Dynasty; and three great grandchildren.
