Larry R. Yost, age 75, passed away too soon on January 4, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Richard and Violet (Frey) Yost and the devoted husband of Joyce A. Yost.

He was a man of remarkable integrity and strength. His hands, skilled and capable, could fix anything that needed mending, earning him the reputation of a brilliant handyman among many. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, from camping excursions with his family to days spent hunting and fishing, soaking in the beauty of nature that he so dearly cherished. An avid NASCAR fan, Larry also enjoyed the thrill of watching races.
In addition to his wife, Joyce of Willow Street, Larry is survived by his children: Jody S. Hackart (Penny) of Shade Gap and Amy Burkman (Michael) of Lititz; four grandchildren: Shannon, T.J., Brittany, and Kylee; seven great grandchildren; his twin brother Barry Yost (Sharon) and brother Edward Yost.
