Obituary

Larry Weinstein, 78, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025. Born on May 16, 1947, in York, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Morris and Roxie Ann (Lauer) Weinstein.

Larry was the loving husband to the late Lesley Patricia Weinstein for 46 years. Larry cherished his roles of husband, father, brother, uncle, and "Grand Daddy".

Larry served in the United States Air Force for four years and proudly served in the Vietnam War. He served from 1968, to 1972 and ended his service as a "Buck Sergeant" known today as a Senior Airman. Larry always enjoyed spending time with family at their bungalow on the Susquehanna River. He enjoyed watching Penn State football, reading, playing golf, and embracing a daily ritual of drinking coffee and reading the newspaper. Larry also enjoyed spending time outdoors. He took great pride in a freshly mowed lawn. Although he would never admit it, he loved their family cats and would often be caught spoiling them with treats and sharing his recliner. Larry was dedicated to his work until he retired as a controller in 2019.

Larry is survived by his son, Wesley Weinstein, husband of Suzanne (Windlebleck) Weinstein of Lancaster; his daughter, Whitney Weinstein of Lancaster; and his cherished granddaughter, Bailey. He is also survived by his siblings, brothers Leroy, Stanley, Randy, and Craig, and his sister, Linda, all of York, PA. In addition, Larry leaves behind many nieces and nephews
