Larry L. Snyder, age 84, passed away on July 26, 2024 at Hospice and Community Care after a 6-month illness from colon cancer. Born on June 1, 1940 in East Petersburg, he was the son of the late Paul L. and Sara (Frederick) Snyder.

Larry spent many years working as a TV repair technician for J.C. Penney Service Center and then went on to work for General Electric fixing home appliances where he retired. During his retirement, he worked for Neffsville Flower Shop delivering flowers until the age of 80 years old. When not working, Larry enjoyed watching Nascar, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. He also enjoyed reading the daily paper and spending time watching the birds in which he was a member of the Lancaster County Bird Club. He will be deeply missed by his family and remembered for his kindness and gentleness.

Larry is survived by his children: Kathleen A. Goshert (wife of Lawrence), Jeffrey L. Snyder, Benjamin F. Snyder, and Bryan P. Snyder (husband of Holly); 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 step children: Janalyn Bollow and Geoffrey Walters; siblings: June Terriman, Judy Miziumski and Perry Snyder; and his companion Judy Hibschman.

Larry is preceded in death by his brother Bruce Snyder and his grandson Brayden Snyder.

A memorial service will take place on Saturday, August 17, 2024 at St. Paul's EC Church, 46 E Church St, Reamstown, PA 17567 at 11am.
