Larry C. McCabe, 75, passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Lancaster General Hospital, Lancaster. He was the husband of Crystal T. (Heck) McCabe.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Daniel J. and Joyce E. (Swavely) McCabe.

Larry graduated from Emmaus High School in 1965 and received a B.A. in Economics and Accounting from Muhlenberg College. He received an MBA from Southern Illinois University and was a CPA in Pennsylvania.

He was a Captain in the U.S. Air Force Medical Service Corps. Hospital Administrator, USAF Hospital, Dover AFB. Larry was a Director of Corporate Accounting at PP&L for 29 years. He was on the Board of Directors of Gold Credit Union. Larry was an adjunct Professor of Accounting at Lehigh University, Muhlenberg College, and Penn State Lehigh Valley Campus. He was also Chairman of the Finance Committee at Legacy Oaks.

Larry enjoyed golf, reading, and spending time with family, and telling jokes.

Surviving Larry are his wife Crystal McCabe of Willow Street, daughter Tammy McCabe of Jacksonville, FL, daughter Stacy Wentz and her husband Darryl Wentz of Emmaus, his grandchildren, Hunter and Conner Wentz, and brother Dan McCabe and his wife Jill of Gardnerville, NV.
