May 31, 1946 – December 21, 2023
Larry V. Donley, 77, passed away at his Warwick Township home on Thursday, December 21, 2023. He shared 31 years of marriage with his wife Terri Will Donley.
Born in Ephrata, Larry served in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam War in Vietnam, during which time he received the Purple Heart. He then worked as a commercial auto body paint technician for 42 years, first for Eastern Mobil Mills and then American LaFrance. Painting cars and trucks was his passion.
Larry was a member of Salem United Methodist Church in Rothsville. He enjoyed golfing with Terri at Lebanon Country Club, and cheering for the Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, 76ers, and Penn State. He also enjoyed gardening, lawn care, hunting, and vacationing in Myrtle Beach. Most important to Larry was spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids.
In addition to Terri, Larry is survived by his stepson, Mark Will, husband of Gwen of Lititz, daughter Pam Derr of Lititz, six grandchildren, Christian Will, husband of Elizabeth, Austin Will, husband of Katie, Tara Will, Keyla Will, Donovan Reiff, and Siera Derr; and three great-grandchildren, Hayden Will, Nora Will, and Chloe Will. Larry is also survived by his German Short Haired Pointer Gabby, and Golden Doodle Fergie.
Larry's family will greet guests from 2:30 to 3:30 pm, followed by the memorial service at 3:30 pm with Rev. Larry Kipp officiating, on Monday, January 8, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private.
Veterans are encouraged to wear their service hat or shirt to Larry's service.
