Obituary

Lance H. Benko, 58, lost his long and courageous battle with cancer Friday, July 19, 2024, at his Lititz residence with his loving family by his side. Lance shared 37 years of marriage with his wife Kimberly A. (Peach) Benko.

Born in Johnstown, he was the son of John Cameron and Lorraine (Vena) Benko.

Lance was an auto mechanic at Keller Bros. Ford in Lititz for 37 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, following the Tour de France, and riding his John Deere tractor. He loved sports, rooting for the Steelers, and volunteering to film Warwick High School football games.

He was a parishioner of St. James Catholic Church.

Lance deeply loved his family: parents Cameron and Lorraine of Portage, wife Kim, son Cole, fiancé of Kaylin Mummert of Mount Joy, siblings, Sharon DuBree (Jim) of Lititz, Yvette Pisczek (Gary) of Shippensburg, Rene DeLosh (Steve) of Keedysville, MD, Eric Benko (Jen) of Dillsburg, numerous nieces and nephews, Kim's parents, Charles and Veronica Peach of Nanty-Glo, and her brother Anthony Peach (Jen) of Johnstown.

A visitation will take place from 10 to 11 am, followed by Mass at 11 am, with The Rev. Stephen D. Weitzel as Celebrant, on Friday, August 2, 2024, at St, James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Avenue, Lititz, PA 17543. Interment will be private.
