L. Benjamin Sauder, 21, died at his home in Mountville on Saturday, October 9, 2010, after a battle with melanoma. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of Larry B. and Lori A. DiStefano Sauder, Mountville.

Ben graduated from Lancaster County Academy in 2007 and worked in the warehouse of School Specialty, Inc., Mount Joy. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his sister Bethany G. Sauder and nephew Reily J. Sauder, Mountville, and his grandparents, Joseph and Sandra DiStefano, Conestoga and Mildred Yunginger, Lancaster.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 409 Cherry St., Columbia, PA, with The Rev. Arokia Swamy Samson as Celebrant. A Viewing will take place on Thursday from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
