Kurt Allen Holtzer, 58, of West Lampeter Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 21, 2018, at the Garden of Grace Hospice, Coatesville VA Medical Center, after a six year battle with leukemia. Born in Jeanette, PA, he was the son of William Holtzer and the late Dolores (DeMark) Holtzer. For 14 years, he was the beloved husband of Julia (Frey) Holtzer. A member of the U.S. Navy, Kurt honorably served his country from 1978-1982. Prior to his illness, he worked as a Supervisor of Clinical Engineering at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He was a member of Grace community Church, Willow Street. In addition to his father and his wife, Kurt is survived by his children, Denae R. Holtzer and Kory J. Holtzer, both of Chico, CA, and a step-son, Erik C. Speece of Allentown. Also surviving is his brother, Karl Holtzer, of Pittsburgh, and a granddaughter, Gemma Holtzer.
