Konstantinos Morfesis, 88, of Lancaster, died unexpectedly Monday at his home.

He was the husband of Ekaterini K. Kolokitha Morfesis. They celebrated 65 years of marriage on October 8 ^th .  Born in Vathi, Ithaki, Greece, he was the son of the late Florias and Anastasia Michalopoulos Morfesis.

He worked in the maintenance dept. at Schick, Inc. for over 12 years. Previously he worked at the famous Cottage Restaurant as a cook. He was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. He enjoyed gardening and being with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Anastasia K. Molfesi of Lancaster, and John K. Morfesis, married to Sandra L. of Lititz, 4 grandchildren, Kostantinos and Katerina Morfesis, Maria Papas, and Dimitrios Kapotis, and 4 great grandchildren, Dimitrios, Nickolaos, Anastasia, and Dimitrios, a brother, Varnaris Morfesis and a sister, Ysmini Karavias, both of Ithaki, Greece.

Funeral services will be held at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave., Lancaster, on Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2006 at 10:30AM. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park, Lancaster. Friends will be received at the church on Tuesday evening from 6-8PM. The Trisagion service will be held at 7:30PM.  Memorial Contributions in Kostaninos memory may be made to Annunciation Church.
