Klaus Hubben of Landenberg, PA, passed away on May 3, 2014, at age 84. He was the son of the late William and Maria Hubben of Newtown, PA. Klaus is a graduate of George School in Newtown, PA, and received his degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania. He also earned a master's degree in veterinary pathology and spent two years in the Air Force in the veterinary corps. Klaus taught Pathology at the University of Pennsylvania, New Bolton Center, Kennett Square, PA, for ten years before spending the next 22 years in pharmaceutical research at I.C.I. Americas in Wilmington, DE.

Klaus is survived by his wife, Carol; six children: Edward Hubben, Thomas Hubben, John Hubben, Robin Flenner, Carol Hilgenberg, and Nicklaus Hubben; as well as six grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM at London Grove Friends Meeting House, 500 West Street Road, Kennett Square, PA 19348
