Kitty Lou (Buckwalter) Heller, 84, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 31, 2025. Born in Florin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Miller) and Aaron Buckwalter. She was the beloved wife of the late James L. Heller, with whom she shared a life filled with love, laughter, and adventure.

Kitty retired from the U.S. Postal Service, where she worked in data entry, but her true joy was found in the time she spent with family and friends. A woman of faith, she attended Faith Bible Church and carried her giving heart into every part of her life.

She cherished times spent in Ocean City, NJ, and traveling whenever she could. Kitty loved hosting holiday gatherings, always making them warm and memorable, and she started a cherished family tradition of attending the American Music Theatre Christmas Show—always with front row seats. With Jim by her side, she was an avid NASCAR fan and loved cheering for Dale Earnhardt. Her love of flowers filled her gardens with beauty, and she stayed active biking, playing mini-golf, and attending concerts. She gave generously of her time as well as her resources and her kindness touched many lives.

Kitty is survived by her sister, Fay Grube of Lititz; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; her brother-in-law, Robert Heller, husband of Joanne, of Mount Joy; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Heller of Lancaster and Marilyn Heller of New Holland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Catalyst Christian School (formerly LAMS).

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at the Chapel at Brethren Village, 3001 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received from 11:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private.
