Kim Nguyen, 73, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on May 13, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Ninh Binh, Vietnam, he was the son of the late Kiem and Hoa Nguyen. Kim was the husband of Thanh Thuy Le. Kim retired from Dart Container as a packer. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and attended the Vietnamese Martyrs Parish. He also was a member of the Thanh Tam Church Choir, liked listening to church and classical music and enjoyed spending time with his family. Kim participated in many activities through the Vietnamese Community in Lancaster. In addition to his wife, Thanh Thuy Le, Kim is survived by three children: Thanh Nguyen, wife of Jeff Vu, of Dallas, TX, Tu Nguyen, husband of Van To, of Drexel Hill, PA and Lan Nguyen of Newark, DE; a grandson: James Vu; six siblings: Trung Nguyen, Thanh Nguyen, Cuc Nguyen, Mai Nguyen, Thuoc Nguyen and Chi Nguyen all of Saigon, Vietnam. Kim was preceded in death by a brother, Chinh Nguyen. A viewing will take place from 7-9 PM on Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A second viewing will be on Saturday, May 16, 2015 from 9-10 AM at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 501 E. Orange St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Interment will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
