Kim Elise (Barlet) Meyer, 42, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 3 ^rd , 2007, at Vitas Hospice in Houston, TX.

Born in Reading, PA, she was the wife of James E. Meyer for the past 8 years and the daughter of Nancy L. Yatsko of Ruscombmanor Township, PA and the late Robert C. Barlet.

Kim was a Professional Geologist and a project manager for Rettew Associates in Lancaster, PA, working there since 1996. She graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1982, and she received an associate's degree in accounting from Reading Area Community College and a bachelor's degree in environmental science from Kutztown University in 1994. She enjoyed playing volleyball in recreational leagues.

In addition to her husband and mother, Kim is survived by  son, Isaac, 6, a 1 ^st grader at Bucher Elementary School;  daughter, Bridget, 2; sister, Dee A. Miller of Glenville, PA; stepfather John Yatsko; three stepsisters, Debra A., wife of Richard Wright of Reading, PA, Jo A. Tennyson of Tucson, AZ, and Susan A. wife of Ken Schardt of Folsom. CA; and one stepbrother, David J. Yatsko and his wife Suzanne of Fleetwood, PA.

A memorial service will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Wednesday, March 14 ^th at 4PM. Friends may be received at the funeral home from 3PM until the time of service.
