Kermit John Seifred Jr., 81 of Lancaster passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at Lancaster General Hospital. Son of the late Kermit J. Sr. and Hazel (Crocker) Seifred, Kermit was born on April 4, 1942. He attended McCaskey HS and then went on to join the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served from 1960-1964.

He later went on to have a very successful career working for the Hajoca Corporation, and later retired from them in the early 2000s. Kerm was known as the biggest Texas Longhorn fan on this side of the Mississippi and an avid fan of any sport for that matter. He was a very social man and could often be found in his favorite barstool with a Rolling Rock in hand enjoying any sporting event that was on television. His personality could certainly light up any room. Whether it was bantering about sports or "smooth talking" the ladies, you better believe he had something to say.

Kermit is survived by the love of his life, his daughter Angie of Billings, MT., and many, many adoring friends and acquaintances.
