Kenneth E. Caldwell, 85, of Elizabethtown, passed away peacefully at Masonic Village, on Sunday, January 17, 2016. He was the son of the late George K. and Mary L. (Diffenderfer) Caldwell. Ken was the husband of the late Helen V. (McLaughlin) Caldwell, of Kinzers.

Ken is survived by his fiancé, Alice Mimm, of Lancaster, with whom he enjoyed spending time and loved dearly; and 2 sisters: Joyce Ann Weike and Lois Jean Plauger, both of Lancaster.

He was a US Navy veteran who served during the Korean Conflict, from 1949 to 1954, aboard the USS Oriskany Aircraft Carrier.

Ken was an active member of Calvary Church and was a 1948 graduate of JP McCaskey High School where he studied auto shop. He was employed by Charles Chips, Mountville for 30 years and later became a supervisor of the maintenance shop.

Ken became a Mason in 1969 and belonged to Lodge of Perfection, Tall Cedars. He was a 32nd Degree Mason.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
