Kathy A. Bays, 56, of Lancaster died Saturday at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Sidney and Evelyn Marie Foultz Painton.

She was a home health provider previously in Washington State.

Surviving are six children: Wendy Bays, Carl D. Bays,  William Nixdorf, Paige Bays, Heather Bays, Kenneth Bays, and eleven grandchildren: Jade, Trey, Darrion, Emily, William, Blake, Haley, Michael, Corbin, Shana, and Alyssa.
