Kathryn M. Shreiner, 90, of Ephrata, passed away at Ephrata Manor on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. She was the wife of the late Floyd M. Shreiner, who passed away on July 4, 2018. Born in Bareville, she was the daughter of the late John and Ella Martin Harry. Kathryn had owned and operated her own beauty salon, Kitty's Beauty Shop, in Bareville for 50 years. She had also worked at Ephrata Community Hospital as a central supply technician for several years. Talented in crocheting and sewing, she created prayer shawls for patients in Ephrata Hospital for many years. She also enjoyed traveling to Myrtle Beach and the Poconos. Kathryn is survived by her children: Leonard married to Kathy Shreiner of Leola, Barbara married to Donald Mumma of Stevens, Clifford married to Melissa Shreiner of Worthington, MN, Tina married to Merrill Yorgey of Lititz, and Trudy Townsend of Ephrata; 13 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and by her sister, Alta married to Charles Bachman of Ephrata. She was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Harry. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
