Kathryn E. Ryan, 81, died Wednesday, May 26, 2010, at her home in Aston, Delaware County. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Giles Morris and Ellen Forney Dreibelbis.

A graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School in Lancaster, Kathryn was a homemaker. She enjoyed baking, cooking and doing cross-stitch and other crafts. Her late husband James J. Ryan, Jr. died in 1963.

Kathryn is survived by her children, Kathy Ressler, Landisville, PA, James J. Ryan, III, Lenexa, KS, Mark Ryan, Davie, Fl and Terence Ryan, Aston, PA; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-granddaughters and her brother Curtis Morris, Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Her son Geoffrey Ryan and brother Willis Morris preceded Kathryn in death.

A Viewing will take place on Tuesday, June 1, 2010, from 9:30-10 AM, followed by the Funeral at 10 AM with The Rev. Leo M. Goodman, III as celebrant, at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Chapel, Inc., 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment in St. Joseph's New Catholic Cemetery.
