Kathryn S. Klein, 104, of Columbia, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Anne's Retirement Community. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Starr, and the beloved wife of the late John J. Klein, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage at the time of his passing in 2004. A loving wife, mother and grandmother and great-grandmother, Kathryn devoted her life to caring for her family and home. She was a former member of St. Anne's Catholic Church in Lancaster. Kathryn is survived by her daughter, Barbara Klein Mank and her husband Gregory of Delta, PA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Jessica and Christopher; two great-grandchildren, Mark and Sarah; and several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 PM on Thursday, January 11, 2018, in the Chapel at St. Anne's Retirement Community, 3952 Columbia Ave., Columbia, PA, 17512, where friends and family will be received from 12-12:30 PM. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Lancaster. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be offered to St. Anne's Retirement Community at the above address.
