Kathleen B. "Kathy" Green, a cherished mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, May 6, 2024, at the age of 65. Born in Philadelphia to the late Robert and Alice (Stark) Borst, Kathy was a beloved wife to the late James Green.

Kathy graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School in 1976. A woman of many passions, Kathy was renowned for her skill in playing pool and her unwavering love for the beach, sun, and lighthouses. She found solace in the pages of books and took joy in daily walks through Strasburg.

Above all, Kathy held her family close to her heart, especially her grandchildren, whom she adored beyond measure. She is survived by her children: Elizabeth Montague (James) of Lititz, Pamela Ford (Michael) of Wake Forest, NC, Steven Green (Bethany) of Strasburg, and Julianne Dommel (Adam) of Lancaster; 10 grandchildren: Donovan, Sydney, Gavin, Evelyn, Esme, Riley, Maverick, Isabelle, Caroline, and Adam, were the light of her life; 2 brothers: Robert Borst (Lynn) of Lancaster and John Borst (Carol) of Strasburg, along with numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Kathy's life on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Bachman Snyder Funeral Home, located at 7 S. Decatur St, Strasburg, PA 17579. Visitation will take place from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a heartfelt celebration of Kathy's life at 3:00 pm. To honor Kathy's vibrant spirit, guests are highly encouraged to wear bright colors.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kathy's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a cause that held a special place in her heart.
