Katherine M. Stoye, 93, of Denver, passed away Monday, January 2, 2017 at Ephrata Community Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Otto and Helen (Mykitin) Streib. Katherine's husband of 56 years, Carl O. Stoye died in 2005.

Surviving Katherine are her daughter, Carleen, wife of Thomas Shea of Lititz and their sons Eric Shea, husband of Jayme Shea of Camp Hill and Matthew Shea of Baltimore, MD.

She graduated from the former Girls High School in Brooklyn and was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Affectionately known to her family as "Baba", she worked for various companies throughout Brooklyn and Long Island, NY as a comptometer operator. Upon retirement, she and Carl relocated to the Denver, PA area from L.I. to be closer to her grandchildren. She loved the beach and traveling with her beloved husband Carl. Baba will forever be remembered for her love of family.

Katherine's funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Monday, January 9, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Friends may attend a visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 PM, with the Holy Rosary at 7:30 PM. Interment in Landis Valley Mennonite Cemetery.
