Katherine "Kate" E. Schuler, 18, of 43 Tupelo St., Lititz, PA died Saturday in Penn Township.
Born in Lancaster, Kate was the daughter of C. David Schuler of Lancaster and Nancy B. Stuchel Schuler, with whom she lived, of Lititz.
She was a June 2006 graduate of Warwick High School, where she had played field hockey. Her family and her friends held a special place in her heart, and she loved to spend her time with those close to her.
She had been working at the Holiday Inn in Lititz, and had planned to attend college next fall.
She liked to bowl and go hiking, and had a love for art, having a special talent for design and drawing.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a paternal grandmother, Roberta M. Schuler of Leola; a maternal grandmother, Marguerite Stuchel of Lancaster; and by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 7-9PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Funeral services and interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
