Katelynn Jean Mentzer, 21, of Lancaster passed away on Thursday March 3, 2016. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Jennifer L. (Lloyd) Mentzer and John M. Mentzer.

Katelynn attended Penn Manor High School, enjoyed playing soccer and cheerleading. She absolutely loved animals, especially her cats and dogs but most of all enjoyed spending time with her loving family.

In addition to her parents, Katelynn is survived by a sister; Aubrey L. Mentzer and a brother; Daniel R. Mentzer both of Lancaster, her grandmothers; Jean Lloyd and Dawn Marie Mentzer both of Lancaster, many aunts, uncles and cousins and her uncle Jason Lloyd who was especially helpful to her during her life. She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers; John J. Mentzer and John R. Lloyd.

A service celebrating Katelynn's life will be held on Monday, March 7, 2016 at 7:30pm at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 6:30pm-7:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Katelynn's memory, to help defray the funeral expenses, to Stumptown Mennonite Church, 2813 Stumptown Rd., Bird in Hand, PA 17505.
