Karl Bruce "Bert" Himmelberger, 73, of Millersville, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2023. Born in Pottsville, PA he was the son of the late Harry and Anna Himmelberger.

Bert graduated from Hempfield High School and later received a bachelor's degree from Franklin & Marshall college. He was also a proud veteran of the US National Guard. Bert retired 1/1/2006 from Armstrong, Building Products division, as Principal Scientist. Prior to that he lived in Shanghai, China as Technology Manager for Armstrong Building Products, which provided him the opportunity to explore the world with his job. He also enjoyed skiing, racing sailboats, and was quite the wine enthusiast. He was a member of the Lancaster Ski Club and got together once a week with a group of friends to go out to eat and socialize. Most of all, Bert enjoyed spending time with his family.

Bert is survived by his 3 brothers: David (Louise Erricson), John (Peggy), and Tim (Melanie) Himmelberger, and 8 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to gather from 1-2 PM on Sunday, December 17, 2023, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A service will begin at 2 PM. There will be a time of food and fellowship immediately after the service at Rock Lititz.
