My dear husband, our beloved father, has been set free of his infirmities and has closed his eyes forever. He was born and educated in Germany and came to the United States in 1961. "He stood in solitude as a protector of all that is dear to us, -of home, heart and family ….He worked tirelessly to provide a life of comfort, contentment and joy, And his devotion was his expression of love." He is survived by his wife Erika, his children Sabine Caldwell (Steve), Thomas Bastian (Debbie) and Kristina Schroeder (Jim); and three grandchildren. We invite friends and family to join us in a simple gathering in the Zinzendorf Room at Moravian Manor, 300 W. Lemon St. Lititz, PA 17543 on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 2 – 4 pm.
