Karen Louise Ault, 74, of Lancaster, passed away at home on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul R. and Hazel (Hixson) Burkhart.

Karen graduated from McCaskey High School in 1966. She was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan. She enjoyed baking cupcakes and cookies, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and had a love for animals. She loved spoiling her cat, Jessie, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be very much missed.

Karen is survived by her daughters, Tracy Saunders, Kimberly Saunders, and Sara Saunders; her grandchildren Kayla Marie Saunders, Kelly Lynn Saunders, Kassandra Nicole Saunders, Alex Barreto, Luis Perez, Jelisa Perez, Ariana Perez, and Gordy Torres, her great-grandchildren Amber Rose Saunders and Elijah Barreto; and her sister, Patricia Souders.

Loved ones are invited to attend a Funeral Service at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602 on Wednesday November 16, 2022. A Viewing will take place from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM and service will follow at 11:00. Committal will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
