June D. Nies, 93, of Lancaster, passed away on May 15, 2018 at Conestoga View. She was the daughter of the late William R. & Anna (Morningstar) Nies. June enjoyed life and the simple things. She found joy in drawing pictures, bowling and playing games, especially Parcheesi & Bingo. June easily made friends wherever she lived with her unique sense of humor and heart of gold. June is survived by several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ruth, William, Gladys and Richard. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA. Interment will follow at St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St., Lancaster PA.
