June Irwin, 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on September 2, 2017 at Willow Valley The Glen. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Arthur & Marguerite White. June was the wife to the late Robert R. Irwin. June retired from NY State Insurance Fund as a Pension Manager. June was very devoted to her Episcopalian faith. She was a long time member of Christ Church in Bronxville. She was an avid reader and was very knowledgeable about Arts and History. She enjoyed going to museums as well as traveling the world. June is survived by grandchildren: Kimberly (Irwin) Bienz and Richard W. Irwin, Jr.; cousins: Richard Edwards, h/o Jan; nieces: Heidi Felix and Staci Johnson; & nephew: Scott Gallmeyer. She is preceded in death by sons: Douglas J. Irwin and Richard W. Irwin; and cousin: Edward S. Gallmeyer, h/o Beth, Ruth E. Snyder, w/o Charles. A Memorial Service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 30 at Christ Church, 17 Sagamore Rd, Bronxville, NY 10708. Interment to follow.
