June Elizabeth Guito, 90, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on September 9, 2018. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Chester Miller and Reba (Mowery) Miller and the wife of the late Emmanuel Guito, who passed in 2002. June was a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School, Class of 1946 and went on to dedicate her life to raising her four kids. As her kids grew older, she explored her interests in art and became a talented artist herself. She also collected watches, played volleyball, and swam at the Brookside Swim Club. June travelled the world with her family and friends, going to destinations like Israel and Mexico. Her family was her everything and she cherished every moment that she got to spend laughing with them. She will be remembered for her kind heart, bright smile, and patience. She is survived by her four children; Jeffery Guito (Jill), E. Joseph Guito, Michele Kauffman (David), and Donna Waltz, her three grandchildren; Nicole Myer (Justin), Amanda Rhinier (William), and Anthony Guito (Mary Katherine), her three great-grandchildren Elizabeth June and Joey Myer, and William Rhinier, her brother, Charles Miller, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emmanuel Guito, and her siblings; Betty Weaver, Nancy Hollister, Robert Miller, and Gloria Miller. A Viewing will be held Friday, September 14, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory at 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 15, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church located at 501 E. Orange St. Lancaster, PA 17602. Guests will be received prior to Mass starting at 10:00am. Interment will follow services at St. Anthony Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in June's memory to Hospice and Community Care 685 Good Drive, Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604.
