Julie T. Martini, 66, of Lancaster and Baiern-Berganger, Germany, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Hospice and Community Care in Mount Joy. Born in Chur, Switzerland, she was the daughter of the late Enrico C.S. and Benita Eichmann Martini. A talented photographer and artist, Julie had worked as a free-lance photographer in Europe. She enjoyed sculpting and nature and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with her family when she traveled to the United States. A very important part of her life was her deep Catholic faith. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Enrico E. married to Lois A. Martini of Lancaster and her nieces and nephews: Sarah Gage of Landisville, Jeffrey Martini of Malvern, Jeremy Martini of Lancaster, Jamie Martini of Boston, MA and Laura Martini of Washington, DC. Friends will be received on Thursday, October 8, 2015 from 10-11AM at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church, 2427 Marietta Ave., Lancaster, PA, with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11AM, the Rev. Peter I. Hahn as Celebrant. Interment in St. Joseph New Catholic Cemetery.
