Judith Anne Murphy, 304 Ashford Dr. Neffsville, passed away quietly on Friday December 15, 2006 at Heart Of Lancaster Regional Medical Center due to pulmonary complications.

Judy was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and was the daughter of the late Merton and Helen Morris.  Judy was married to Wayne Murphy in 1954 and they would have  celebrated their 52 ^nd wedding anniversary on December 23, 2006..

She was a 1954 graduate of the State University of Iowa with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Commerce.  Judy and Wayne lived in Texas, Louisiana, Michigan,  Germany, Ohio, Wisconsin, before moving to Lancaster in 1976. While living in Janesville Wisconsin she was the director of volunteer services at Janesville Hospital. She was a member of Lancaster Coterie.

Judy enjoyed playing bridge, traveling, reading, saltwater fishing and was a avid boater and sailor as well as a licensed ham radio operator. Judy truly enjoyed spending time with her family.

Judy is survived by her children, David W., married to Julie Blough of Lititz and Linda A., wife of Daniel Berger of Lititz.  She leaves one granddaughter, Jennifer, four grandsons: Patrick, Christopher, Daniel Jr. and Brian, all of Lititz, and one sister, Jean, married to Richard Zieke of Cedar Rapids.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service on Wednesday, Dec. 20th at 2pm in the afternoon at the Charles F Snyder Jr., Funeral Home and Chapel 3110 Lititz Pike.
