Judith D. Barton, 87, of Lancaster, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Margaret Wetzel Afflebach, wife of the late Robert Afflebach. She was the wife of the late Abram "Abe" C. Barton, who passed away in 1997 after sharing 39 years of marriage.

Judy had been a proud graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School, where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

She had been a homemaker, enjoyed reading, and treasured spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Judy is survived by her children: Michael married to Wendy Barton of Leola, Douglas married to Tami Barton of Brownstown, and Deborah married to Billy Matthews of Lancaster; her 6 grandchildren Samantha, Abigail, Andrew, Jennifer, Alec, and Avery; her great grandchildren Aslan, Dylan, Rowan, and Logan; and by her sisters: Jacquelyn Way and Janice married to Robert Cook.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
