Judie A. (Dembauskas) Kubala, 73, of Lancaster, died Friday, October 25, 2013 at Lancaster Regional Hospital. Born in Mt. Carmel, she was the wife of Paul J. Kubala of Lancaster, and the daughter of the late Anthony and Ann (Hodrick) Dembauskas. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Lancaster. Judie enjoyed reading early in life, then travel, and finally shopping. In addition to her husband of 49 years, she is survived by a son, Kenneth P. Kubala of San Francisco, CA; a sister, Kathleen Smith and her husband Richard of Charleston, SC; and two nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, October 29, 2013 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 558 W. Walnut St., Lancaster with the Rev. Michael Messner as Celebrant. Burial will follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at 2:30 PM. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 PM Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA.
