Judi Ann Clawges, 71, of Columbia, passed away at Lancaster General Hospital on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Marion (Sprenkle) Ruth.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Clawges, Sr., her son James E. Clawges, Jr. and great-grandson Wayne Markley, Jr. Judi is survived by her children: Wayne Markley, William Markley (Theresa), Jodi Buohl (Bob), Scott Clawges and Justin Clawges; grandchildren: Brendon, Alexis, Mia, Terry, Crys, Rob, Shawna, Darion, Lauryn, Anthony and Isaiah; 6 great-grandchildren and her brother Jeff Ruth (Esther).

A 1961 graduate of Lampeter-Strasburg High School, Judi was a state licensed day care provider for 18 years. She enjoyed table puzzles, crossword puzzles and playing cards. She was a member of Iron Horse Biker Church.
