Juan Rivera-Quinonez, 63, of Lancaster passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA. He was the son of Francisco Rivera of Puerto Rico and the late Ramona Quinonez.

Juan was employed as a woodworker and carpenter by Childcraft Manufacturing Division in Lancaster.

Juan was a member of the Jesucristo es el Rey church in Lancaster. He was a talented guitar and cuatro player and enjoyed fishing and working on cars.

In addition to his father, Juan is survived by his daughters, Carol Rivera, the wife of Jose Pagan of Lancaster; Iliana Rivera of Lancaster; his son, Juan A. Rivera of Lancaster; and his five grandchildren. He is also survived by his two sisters and two brothers: Virginia Rivera, wife of Rasali of Puerto Rico; Aida Rivera, wife of Eladio of Puerto Rico; Ruben Rivera, husband of Nelida of Puerto Rico; and Jose Rivera of New Jersey. Juan is survived by his girlfriend, Viviana Lopez of Lancaster; three step-children: Jessica, Alex, and Wilson Lopez; and a step-granddaughter, Janise Ramos.

Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at 7 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St, Lancaster, PA. A viewing will be held from 5 to 7 PM prior to the service at the funeral home on Wednesday. There will also be a viewing held on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 9 to 10 AM with interment to follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster. Flowers will be received.
