Joyce Ross Shaffer, 80, of Manheim, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. Born in Central City, PA, she was the daughter of the late Telford C. and Mary Sivits Ross. Joyce was retired from Warner Lambert, now Johnson and Johnson. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great gram. She loved coming up to Bedford County and Central City to see her family. She loved going to the Chesapeake Bay, spending time with friends that were like family to her. She will be sadly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Joyce is survived by her daughters: Cindy Eitnier of Manheim, Scherry married to Wayne Boozer of Shellsburg; her sons Jerry Shaffer of Shellsburg and Robert Shaffer of Lititz. She has 6 grandchildren: Rick, Bridget, Jeramie, Justin, Heidi and Heather, and 17 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers George married to Kathy Ross and James married to Nita Ross, and by her sister, Norma Lou (Polly) Persivich. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Telford Ross Jr. and Dwayne Ross. Friends will be received on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 2-3PM at the Charles F. Snyder Jr Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA with the Funeral Service to follow at 3PM.
