Joyce A. Rogers, 91, of Lititz, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at Landis Homes.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Edward W. and Mildred (Wilkinson) Moore.

Joyce worked as a telephone operator for many years before her retirement. She previously worked for Bell Telephone, AT&T, and Lancaster General Hospital. Joyce found joy in traveling the world. Her favorite destinations included California and Colorado, where she would visit her beloved son, Skip. Back home, Joyce cultivated her love for community and creativity. A familiar face at Landis Homes, she spent countless hours engaged in her favorite pastimes: playing bingo and painting. Joyce found immeasurable delight in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. Babysitting her great-grandchildren brought her immense happiness.

She is survived by her daughter, Patricia "Pat" (John Byers) Veser; her granddaughter, Jodi (Bryan) Long; her great-grandchildren, Joshua and Taylor Long; her brother, John (Rosalie) Moore; and her sister-in-law, Shirley (Clyde) Wenger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her son, Skip Rogers.

Friends and family will be received from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A memorial service will follow beginning at 11AM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

As a family we greatly appreciate all the love, kindness, and tender care the staff at Manheim House at Landis Homes gave to Joyce during her time as a resident.
