Joyce M. Maloney, 80, of Woodbine MD, formerly of Lancaster passed away Wednesday, August 9, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Slegers) Withers. She was the loving wife of Carl Maloney. Joyce worked as a Home Health Aide for Central Penn nursing for 11 years. She was a former member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church where she volunteered with the K of C Ladies Auxiliary. Joyce enjoyed gardening and reading. She enjoyed playing bingo, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved attending their sporting events and other activities. In addition to her husband, Carl, she is survived by her four children: Karen A. Banas (Robert) of Woodbine, MD, Christine R. Weikle (Delton) of Sinksgrove, WV, David M. Maloney (Michele) of Las Vegas, NV and Dennis J. Maloney (Heather) of Lititz, PA and 8 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard Withers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park. Friends will be received from 9-10AM at the church.
