Joyce A. Lowery, 71, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at her residence in West Fenwick Island, DE.  She courageously battled metastatic melanoma.  Born in Lancaster, Joyce is the daughter of Mildred Hauck and the late Luther Kistler.  Joyce was predeceased by her beloved husband of 32 years, Albert Lowery.

Joyce spent most of her life in Lancaster before retiring to Delaware, fulfilling a dream to live at the beach.  She graduated from McCaskey High School.  Joyce worked at Schick until it closed and then retired from High Steel Service Center.  She enjoyed her friends, boating, and family.

In addition to her mother, Joyce is survived by her children, Rick Stover and Mary Ann Stover (Amy Steerman); grandson, Nate Stover-Steerman; sister Sandy Nissley (Wilbur); brothers Red Kistler (Essie) and Ron Kistler (Cindy); as well as nieces, nephews and other extended family.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday, November 15 at 11:00AM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home& Crematory, 441 N. George St., Millersville, PA. The family will visit with friends from 10:30 until the start of services.  Interment will follow at Conestoga Memorial Park.
