Joyce Geib, formerly of East Petersburg, died Friday, October 30, 2015, at Pleasant View Retirement Community, Manheim. Born in Ephrata, she was the daughter of the late Jacob F. and Ida Salinda (Eshleman) Diirner. Joyce and her husband Bernard "Bernie" P. Geib celebrated 54 years of marriage last September 23rd.

A graduate of Warwick High School, she had been a production worker for Pfizer and belonged to the Pfizer Retiree Group. Joyce was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Manheim, where she previously taught youth Sunday school. She was a longtime member and past president of the East Petersburg Women's Club. Joyce was a great cook and with Bernie she traveled throughout the United States and many parts of the World, except Asia.

In addition to her loving husband Bernie, Joyce is survived by her aunts, Elma Eshleman of Manheim, Julia Griffith of Ephrata and Nancy Ditzler of Akron, several cousins and her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Donald and Romaine Geib of Lititz.

The funeral will take place 11 am Wednesday, November 4, 2015, with Rev. Russell U. Stahley officiating, at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11 am on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Hernley Mennonite Cemetery.
